  • Do you offer diagnostic evaluations?

    Yes. Lumino ABA offers gold-standard diagnostic assessments for Autism including the ADOS-2, CARS-2, and SRS-2. Additionally, we provide IQ, developmental, behavioral and adaptive evaluations to ensure you are provided with a comprehensive understanding of your child. These are performed by licensed psychologists or dual-credentialed Psy.D./BCBA providers.

  • Can Lumino ABA diagnose and treat my child under the same roof?

    Yes. Our model is built to provide a seamless transition from diagnosis to treatment, ensuring continuity of care. We follow all compliance guidelines from start to finish.

  • Is Lumino ABA available in schools?

    Yes. We partner with schools to provide on-site ABA therapy and behavioral support. Our BCBAs and RBTs are embedded within select private schools in Orlando and Tampa, helping students access services within their natural learning environment.

  • Do you accept insurance?

    Yes. We accept most major commercial insurances and Medicaid plans in Florida. Our team will verify your benefits and explain your coverage before services begin. We are also in the process of becoming approved as a provider under Step Up for Students for additional education-based funding.

  • Can you provide therapy at home or in the community?

    Yes. Depending on insurance authorization and clinical need, we offer home-based services and can support community outings and activities.

  • What ages do you serve?

    We typically work with preschool and school-aged children. For diagnostic services, we assess children as young as 18 months, and for ABA therapy, we tailor programs to the developmental level of each child.

  • How do I start services?

    We welcome transfers! Our team can coordinate with your current provider to ensure a smooth transition. We will conduct a new assessment to tailor the program to our approach and clinical standards.

  • Do I need a referral from a doctor?

    In most cases, yes. Insurance plans often require a formal referral or diagnosis from a pediatrician or psychologist. We can assist you in obtaining what’s needed during the intake process.
